XV - "Zero Heroes"

One of my personal favorites since I discovered him a few years ago, XV, is back with his first full-length project since last year when he released Vizzy Zone. The "free album" features artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Pusha T, and more plus production from J. Cole, Just Blaze, Seven (of course), and more. Check out When We're Done, which is produced by Seven who uses an awesome Kingdom Hearts 2 sample (Sanctuary by Utada Hikaru).

Follow him on Twitter @XtotheV, like him on Facebook, or check out his site http://iamxv.com/.

Casey Veggies Dom Kennedy and Carter come together for the visual of there song CDC off of the Original Dom Kennedy
one of those girls in that video unfollowed me on twitter. -_-

Mckenzie Eddy – Mckenzie Eddy’s Greatest Hits

McKenzie Eddy first caught my attention by being featured on my favorite track off of Curren$y's Pilot Talk 2 (Silence). Now with her first full official release we hear her soulfully rocking over production by herself and the legendary Ski Beatz . Standouts tracks include McKenzie singing over two of the best beats from Pilot Talk 1 - Example and King Kong. As with all Ski Beatz assisted projects the production is top notch and she has a great voice which compliments each beat.

Rating - 7/10

Jeremiah Jae

Unique. That instantly popped into my mind when I began to listen to Jeremiah Jae a couple months ago. I must have listened to $easons, his single for his latest release Rappayamatantra - EP, at least 40 times that night. I just couldn't get over this "breath of fresh air" in hip-hop that I had just stumbled on; I don't think I had been that excited for a new artist since first hearing Tyler, The Creator's Bastard/Earl Sweatshirt's EARL. I dropped everything else I was doing and quickly went around the Internet in search of everything else he's released. Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Jeremiah is a rapper/producer on one of my favorite record labels, Brainfeeder (also currently the only rapper on the label). He's not the most "lyrical" rapper, but that's not his schtick, and his (original) style of beats/raps should be enough to keep you intrigued. He's very experimental like with his beats, for instance, they're all really "out there" and psychedelic. Be on the look-out for his upcoming album Raw Money Raps, which he apparently just turned in (should be coming soon). Below is the video for $easons and a few links to some of his material, so please take a listen.

Miracle

Hey all, for my first post on TBD I've decided to share with you an artist from my neck of the woods. Normally i have no interest in Australian hip hop but this guy is nice. Born in Ghana but raised in Sydney, Australia, Miracle is a bright young rapper/producer who brings a very fresh style of rap music to the Australian hip hop scene. The video for his track "Better Dayz" quickly spread across the internet and he has managed to gain over 70 thousand views on youtube. After recently signing with a small independent label Miracle is slated to release his project "Miracle is Iller" sometime in 2011. Ill leave you with my favorite song by Miracle and drop some links where you can check out more of his music.

The Weeknd

The Weeknd i've heard this dude all over 16-24 year old tumblrs recently and i never knew who he was apparently he's The Weeknd. I've heard a few tracks that i thoroughly enjoyed he's no frank ocean but he has potential to be his own artist and make a splash on the R&B Scene. Only Time will tell. Lets wait and See. He's on Rolling Stones Artist to watch list.
