Possibly my favorite artist right now, and the final instillation to the inhale series proves why. The tape cover to cover is as solid of a project released this year by anyone...ANYONE. From the Intro to my favorite track on the cd Cardigan Sweater (produced by hero george featuring god jewels) to chi lights to top of the world the tape is just great. Its crazy to see the way the music matured from part 1 to part 2 to part 3 he saved the best for last obviously. Its hard to categorize his music as rap he harmonizes alot and does it welll but he doesnt slack on the lyric side of the music either and i feel like im talking to much we will just let the music speak check the link below.

Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar, I heard one of his songs earlier this month entitled "cut you off" and at the time it was like what i needed to hear. So as the week went on i started listen to more of him and then a few days later he dropped his latest project Overly Dedicated and its been all i listened to for the past few weeks. Hailing from compton he has a aggressive yet laid back style. He has one song on O.D. that has been my theme music for the past few days called the Heart part II take a listen to that and if you like it download or cop the cd on itunes actually mine as well do both.

BJ The Chicago Kid.

First heard of this "kid" because of Levi Maestro he was always with him during Maestro Knows and Levi was always posting videos they made on vimeo so i listened then when they were touring with Anthony Hamilton I saw his skills on there to. So of course i looked for songs, mixtapes, and collaborations and to my suprise i found a bunch of stuff i had actually heard him before on a Dom Kennedy song but never followed up and didnt realize it until after the fact. He writes music for himself and other artist. He has two Mixtapes you can find after the jump and a song with Diz Gibran who you'll see in a later post.
