Fashion you need about:
For all you Sneaker Freaks, 2008 looks like a promising year as far as Nike SB's go. Last weekend in Frankfurt, Germany, the Bright trade show displayed exclusive looks at what's to be expected in the year 2008. The new craze that was seen, was what is appeared to be the P-Rod II High. Little is know on these so stay tuned! Clothing was also displayed at the Bright trade show. Seems as if Nike SB took they're style to FLANNEL, which has become extremely popular/mainstream as of lately. Mind you, this is only a little TASTE..Once we get the whole pie, I have a feeling we're going to have more classics to add our collections!

This week In Hip Hop News:
Lil' Wayne Ain't Going To Rehab
Days after his Arizona arrest, the stage offered an outlet to a furious Lil' Wayne, who verbally tore into his entourage at a show date in Virginia before reuniting with former Cash Money rapper Young Buck the next night in Tennessee.
An Arizona court date delayed Weezy's appearance in Richmond, VA, Friday (Jan. 25) but once the rapper finally arrived onstage, he made his frustrations clear by ripping into members of his entourage.
"I just flew in about ten minutes ago--I just had to deal with a whole lot of bullsh*t," Wayne addressed the crowd. "I want you to know that none of you up in this building have nothing to do with this attitude I got right now. I'm not the most happiest man right now." [Watch Below]
Wayne delivered a scathing glare and pointed at the men onstage behind him as he finished, "When your friends turn their back on you and say they're gonna be there for you..... I just want all the motherf*ckers that been with me that ain't gone never be with me again to know, I did it for y'all! Those who won't be with me no more, Die!"
As SOHH previously reported, Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., was arrested in Yuma County, AZ on last Tuesday (Jan. 22). The arrest occurred around 11:30 p.m. after a Border Patrol dog alerted agents to the presence of illegal drugs on his bus. Law enforcement discovered 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstasy and $22,000 belonging to the rapper during their search of the vehicle. Two members of Wayne's entourage were also arrested.
Felony charges were filed against Wayne on Friday. He is facing one count each of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia; despite those charges, Weezy assured Richmond concertgoers that drugs aren't the problem.
"Everybody want to talk about the boy on too much drugs and Baby need to take me to rehab," Wayne told the crowd. "I just want everyone to know one thing. A junkie can't do what I do! I tried to tell you can't no drug, can't no b*tch, can't no n*gga, none of that can fade me! I am the ultimate high. I am my drug. You understand me? I just want the motherf*ckers that's wit me to know it ain't about what I'm on, it's about what I do! And this is what the f*ck I do!"

Singles Released this week u should here/know about:
D’Evil Eye Review
1/30/08
There were no big album releases this week in the world of Hip-Hop, so instead of focusing on albums this week, I’m going to review some singles that came out this week. This week’s single releases ranged from Hip-Hop legends reuniting to an Atlanta duo producing the same old shit. I’ll start with the S.O.S.:
Ching-a-Ling by Missy Elliot
Trying to top her club hit success (“Work It”, “Lose Control”) from recent years, Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliot falls short with “Ching-a-Ling”. The beat is two simple for this ever to be a success in the way it was intended. It also lacks the lyrical fire or energy that she has showed in her pervious work. Released on the Step Up 2: The Streets soundtrack, this track will probably go the same route as its movie counterpart.

Drop by The Ying-Yang Twins
Nothing new here… The Twins rapping over this pop-influenced beat talking about their experiences in the club is fitting because this is most likely place where this song is going to heard. The shallow lyrics aren’t interesting besides their strange reference to Santa Claus ("I’m Santa Claus, didn’t you hear?/ Tell jolly Saint Nick what you want this year”), and girls. The rest of the song features references to women, girls, and females.

I Won’t Tell by Fat Joe featuring J. Holiday
Fat Joe’s smooth flow and J. Holiday’s soothing voice over this modern R&B track are the positives of this valiant effort from this rap veteran. The only negative of this song is that it doesn’t have enough positives. Joey Crack doesn’t bring any new flare to the game and if you’ve heard “Bed” by J. Holiday (or any other current R&B song for that matter) you know what the hook sounds like on this song.

Multi Barz of Fury by CL Smooth
This throwback track produced by Pete Rock is what the game needs now. The soulful backdrop laid down by Rock is perfect for the twisting and turning words of CL Smooth. He did “What the man came to do, what the experts doubt” and spit intelligent lyrics over a timeless beat. I’m inclined to say that the beat outshines the lyrics but they work so well together, it is difficult to say which is better.
