Union
Union consists of two Parisian producers by the names of GOLD and OJ. Drawing heavy influences from the likes of Dilla, Herbie Hancock, Isao Tomita, and Kraftwerk, together they fuse '70s jazz funk, electro, and hip-hop to create what they call "analogtronics". "Composing more than sampling, their melody and music evolution goes beyond the beatmaking barriers (from their Soundcloud)." Later this fall they will be releasing their debut album, rightfully titled Analogtronics, with features from eLZhi, MF DOOM, Talib Kweli, and more. Some great artists they've already collaborated with, right? Below you can check out Wings featuring eLZhi (this will be on the album) and Songs For Janasa featuring Rachel Claudio (from the Tokyo Dawn compilation The Heart).

▲ B S T R ▲ C T I C ▲ is Ethereal's (Atlanta based producer/rapper/visual artist) first album released on Slumerican Records and sounds exactly what you'd think it sounds like just looking at the title. He fits into that experimental hip-hop movement (think CunninLynguists, Jeremiah Jae, Shabazz Palaces) that has been growing more and more lately.

TiRon & Ayomari - "En Kärlekshistoria - EP"
While in Stockholm for 12 days, the duo from LA spent 4 of those days creating this EP with the help of Sum Comfort Food (Swedish production duo). This should be more than enough to hold you over until their album, A Sucker For Pumps, is released later this summer.

The Cool Kids - "Swimsuits"
Mayer Hawthorne on the hook. When Fish Ride Bicycles will finally be available July 12th as a digital release only. Never been a huge fan of The Cool Kids, but I really like this track; it's a great summer track. My only gripe is I wish it was a little longer as it's not even 3 minutes long.

Kris Mars - "The Travalar - EP"
The "New West" continues to grow. Kris is an 18 year old rapper/singer/songwriter from LA and has just released his second EP 2 days ago (just got around to listening to it today). Denmark music collective Boom Clap Bachelors handled the production for the project. Just based off my first listen the first track, Lose Your Mind, is my favorite song so far.
Wale - "Lacefrontin'"
Now this is the sound he should have gone with for "Attention: Deficit". Hopefully being on MMG will give him more freedom on his sophomore album. Just a little heads up, parts of the song are censored while other parts aren't.
